All progressive lenses have lazer etched markings on the lenses which will include usually two small circles, squares or crosses set 34mm apart which enable the supplier to accurately position the lenses on the patient, as well as determine the lens design and reading addition.

By knowing the position of these lazer etchings (Alignment reference markings), all other aspects of the lens can be seen.

The markings on your progressive lenses are normal and should not affect your vision at all.
