A contact lens specification is unique, this is altogether different to a prescription for glasses.
Following a contact lens consultation or aftercare appointment with your optician a specification will be issued to you, this will enable you to purchase the lenses detailed on that specification. Usually these are only valid for 12 months, after which time a new check up will be required.
Your optician is required by law to issue you with a copy of your contact lens specification, if you did not receive this you can contact the optician who examined you to request a copy.
Once you submit an order with us we will require a copy of this to validate the details, we will then store your contact lens prescription, which will mean you can continue to purchase the same specification until the expiry date on this specification.
